The Story

Leeds United’s title race went to the final day. At Plymouth Argyle, they needed a winner as the closing minutes slipped away.

Manor Solomon supplied it in stoppage time, securing a 2–1 victory and taking Leeds to 100 points. The Championship title was theirs, with goal difference separating them from Burnley.

A long campaign had found its defining moment: one finish, an eruption in the away end and a return to the Premier League as champions.
